When I first saw Luna on the corner, close to my hotel, she bore the usual, deep, familiar sadness most street dogs have in their eyes- but there was something more about her. Her deep-set eyes, her fuzzy mohawk, her kindness I instantly recognized. I would like to believe she is Charlie's daughter for she lived in the same neighborhood Charlie used to call his home. The Malecon. On October 11 we rescued her. This is her story. Thank you Elvis for your help. Thank you Dr. Cindy for giving Luna her temporary home and medical care.
